Y Ffederasiwn - The Federation

Sefydlwyd y Ffederasiwn yn swyddogol ar y 1af o Ebrill 2021,er y bu'r dair ysgol yn cydweithio yn agos ers nifer o flynyddoedd o dan arweiniad un pennaeth. Mae'r pennaeth presennol wedi bod mewn lle ers Medi 2021.

Rydym fel tair ysgol wledig lle mae'r ysgol yn ganolbwynt i'r gymuned hefyd yn manteisio ar fod yn Ffederasiwn er mwyn cefnogi ein gilydd fel tim, manteisio ar gryfderau staff a rhannu arfer da ac ehangu a chyfoethogi cyfleoedd a gynnigir i'r disgyblion ac ar yr un pryd datblygu hunaniaith o few yr ysgolion unigol.

Yn dilyn arolwg y Ffederasiwn yn Mehefin 2023 nodwyd ganEstyn:

'Mae gan y pennaeth weledigaeth glir ar gyfer y ffederasiwn, sy’n cynnwys dathlu hunaniaeth y tair ysgol unigol. Mae’r disgyblion, rhieni, staff a’r llywodraethwyr yn gwerthfawrogi manteision bod yn rhan o ffederasiwn, ond hefyd maent yn ymfalchïo yn eu cymunedau gwahanol a’r hyn sy’n gwneud y tair ysgol yn unigryw. Mae’r pennaeth a’r holl staff yn sicrhau bod disgyblion ar draws y ffederasiwn yn cael yr addysg orau i’w paratoi ar gyfer y dyfodol a bod ganddynt ‘wreiddiau i dyfu ac adenydd i hedfan’. Mae hyn yn cefnogi disgyblion i fod yn hapus a gwneud cynnydd cadarn yn eu medrau.'

The three schools were formally adopted as a Federation on the 1st April 2021, although the three schools have worked closely together for many years under the leadership of one headteacher. The current Headteacher has been in post since September 2021.

As three rural schools where the school is at the heart of each individual community, we also take advantage of being within a Federation supporting each other, making the most of staff strengths and sharing good practice, as well as expanding and enriching the opportunities offered to the pupils whilst also developing the identity of each individual school.

Following an Estyn inspection as a Federation in June 2023, Estyn noted:

'The headteacher has a clear vision for the federation, which includes celebrating the identity of the three individual schools. Pupils, parents, staff and governors value the advantages of being part of a federation, but also take pride in their distinct communities and what makes the three schools unique. The headteacher and all staff ensure that pupils across the federation receive the best education to prepare them for the future and that they have ‘roots to grow and wings to fly’. This supports pupils to be happy and make sound progress in their skills.'
