Lleolir yr Ysgol o fewn cyrion pentref Tallychau, pentref sydd tua 7 milltir o  Landeilo a 14 milltir o Llanbed. Prif dalgylch yr Ysgol yw Talyllychau, Taliaris, Cwmdu a Llansawel.

Mae’r ysgol yn ganolbwynt o fewn y gymuned ac yn chwarae rhan weithredol o fewn y cymunedau amrywiol lleol gan gynnwys yr eglwys.

Mae adeilad yr Ysgol yn dyddio nol i Oes Fictoria ac mae yna dri prif ystafell o fewn y prif adeilad a ystafell ychwanegol a ddefnyddir ar hyn o bryd fel ystafell feithrin. Rydyn hefyd yn falch iawn o’r ardal ddysgu allanol sydd gan y disgyblion dysgu Sylfaen. Mae hefyd iard ar gael i ddisgyblion i chwarae. Yn ychwanegol rydyn yn ffodus i allu defnyddio cae o fewn y pentref yn rheolaidd.

Lleolir y cylch methrin agosaf yn Llansawel. Gall blant o 2 ½ oed fynychu tan eu bod yn medru mynychu’r Ysgol y tymor yn dilyn eu pedwerydd penblwydd.

The school is located on the outskirts of Talley village an about 7 miles from Llandeilo town and 14 miles from Lampeter town. The main catchment area for the school comprises of Talley, Taliaris, Cwmdu and Llanswel villages.

The school plays a vital role within the community and plays an active part within various local organisations including the church.

An additional room which is currently used by the nursery/reception children. We are also fortunate to have an outdoor learning area for the foundation phase. In addition, there is a playing yard for all pupils. We are also fortunate to have use of the school field located within the village.

The closest cylch meithrin is in Llansawel. Pupils from the age of 2 ½ can attend the cylch and they are able to be at cylch until they are able to start school the term after their 4^th birthday.
