Cwrt Henri
Lleolir yr Ysgol o fewn canol Cwrt Henri, pentref mewn ardal amaethyddol draddodiadol o fewn Dyffryn Tywi rhyw 5 milltir o dref Llandeilo a 10 milltir o dref Caerfyrddin. O fewn y pentref ei hunan mae 2 ystad cyngor gyda rhai o’r tai nawr yn breifat.
Mae’r ysgol yn ganolbwynt o fewn y gymuned ac yn chwarae rhan weithredol o fewn y cymunedau amrywiol lleol gan gynnwys y capel, eglwys, siop gymunedol a grwp dementia Cathen.
Mae adeilad yr Ysgol yn dyddio nol i Oes Fictoria ac mae yna dau ystafell o fewn y prif adeilad a caban allanol. Yn ogystal mae gan yr Ysgol ystafell ychwanegol ar gyfer gwersi offerynnol, sesiynau lles neu ar gyfer grwpiau bach. Rydyn hefyd yn falch iawn o’r ardal ddysgu allanol sydd gan y disgyblion dysgu Sylfaen a’r ardal allanol sydd ar waith ar hyn o bryd er mwyn cynnig cyfloedd amrywiol allanol i ddisgyblion brig yr Ysgol.
I lawr yr heol o fewn yr ystafell ddarllen ceir cylch meithrin lleol sydd yn derbyn plant yn 2 oed tan eu bod yn medru cychwyn gyda ni yn yr Ysgol y tymor yn dilyn eu pedwerydd penblwydd.
The school is located within the heart of Cwrt Henri village in a traditional agricultural area within the Towy Valley. The village is about 5 miles from Llandeilo and 10 miles from Carmarthen. Within the village there are two council estates with many of these houses now privately owned.
The school plays a vital role within the community and plays an active part within the various local organisations including the chapel, church, community shop and local dementia group.
The main building dates to the Victorian era and there are two rooms within this building. There is also a 2nd classroom in an outside cabin. In addition, there is an extra outdoor classroom which is used for emotional support, instrumental lessons or small group activities. We are also very fortunate to have a purpose build outdoor learning area for the foundation phase pupils and a similar area is being developed for the older pupils so that outdoor learning can be offered across all ages.
The local cylch meithrin meet down the road in the reading rooms. The cylch accept children from the age of 2 and they can attend this provision until they can start school the term after their 4th birthday.
